Aiden “INSaNiA” Sarkoi disclosed that he had a serious conflict with one of his teammates, Samuel ‘Boxi’ Swann. This was however resolved with the help of
Team Liquid’s coach, William ‘Blitz’ Lee.
The player made a statement to this effect on YouTube.
“We had a crazy biff. There were a lot of issues on the team that William Blitz helped us with. It helped the two of us.”
INSaNiA sad that this conflict started at DOTA Summit 12. At that time, the player had placed a demand on the team coach that he would rather not play together with Boxi, while his partner from the same team made the same allegation against him.
“At DOTA Summit 12, the team was divided. I was telling William I didn't want to play with Boxi anymore, and Boxi was telling him he didn't want to play with me anymore. It was like we were forcing him to pick a side.”
The cybersportsman says it is the pandemic that however saved the team cause the squabbles came to an end when the members quarantined themselves in their homes.
“Maybe the covid saved the team. We were locked in houses and the emotions then subsided. That was the peak of our disagreements.”
Let us remember that Samuel ‘Boxi’ Swann earlier talked about the factors contributing to
Team Liquid’s loss and one of them was pretty much the players’ lack of motivation after winning The International 2024.
