Aiden “INSaNiA” Sarkoi has named the meta of The International 2022 the worst in the history of the tournament series, describing the event itself as not particularly interesting.
The player shared this opinion on X.
“I would say that the worst meta of all time was at TI11. Everyone played Leshrac and Lina and bought Wraith Pact. That's it. And that TI wasn't particularly interesting at all.”
The player also highlighted the most interesting meta of the tournament series. According to Aiden “INSaNiA” Sarkoi, The International 2021 was one of the most interesting events, where participants demonstrated a variety of approaches to gameplay. However, the esports player noted that at TI10, most participants built their strategies around hard carry.
"The TI10 meta. Personally, I think that TI was one of the most interesting. There were many different styles that the teams showed. But the gameplay was more focused on hard carry. There was Lycan, buffed Tiny, OG used Nature's Prophet, farmed Moon Shard for their carry. It was exciting, so I like this meta too."
Earlier, Aiden “INSaNiA” Sarkoi called for a Dota 2 tournament schedule that is comfortable for viewers.
