Gorgc identified the main issue with the Crownfall update in Dota 2

Crownfall is a great event according to Jean "Gorgc" Stefanovski, the community however is not happy with the event itself but rather absence of gameplay patch 7.36 and a new hero Ring Master.

This statement was made in one of his Twitch streaming sessions.

“Convince me otherwise –I really think it’s worthy’. It is currently the best dungeon option available. The only thing is that people thought there’d be a new character and some changes in gameplay. And that’s why people are moaning about this whole thing. If you look at that event separately, it does worth it even if for now only. Sure, we need to make money on it, let’s be realistic, but contentwise it isn’t that bad”

Accordingly, he claims that Valve has done so much in terms of content but community expected something different from them because of their Crownfall update disappointment due to Valve's decision to postpone introducing a new hero as well as bringing about game play changes under v 7.36 which were being looked forward by players and esports professionals along with getting opportunity to try out Ring Master the new hero.

It's worth noting that earlier, the Crownfall update disappointed the Dota 2 community due to Valve's decision to postpone the release of a new hero and gameplay changes in the game.
