Gaimin Gladiators and Evil Geniuses have accumulated enough Dota Pro Circuit points to guarantee their invites to The International 2023.

DPC 2023 Rankings

The first Dota 2 team to reach the minimum DPC points and qualify for The International 2023 is Team Liquid. This achievement was made possible by their successful spring season in the Dota Pro Circuit and their 2nd place at the recent ESL One Berlin Major 2023.

According to Liquipedia.net calculations, Tundra Esports and Talon Esports are the next teams with a chance to reach the minimum DPC points.

Tundra Esports secured the 1st place in the DPC WEU 2023 Tour 3: Division I, earning 500 DPC points. They need to finish at least 8th on Dota 2 Major to guarantee their participation at The International 2023. However, even without that, their chances are highly favorable.

Talon Esports is currently lacking 101 points. Their fate depends on the outcome of the match between Army Geniuses and Blacklist International on June 5th. If Blacklist International loses, Talon Esports will have a chance to compete against them for the 3rd place in the group and, most importantly, secure the much-needed 100 DPC points and qualify for the Bali Major 2023.

Either way, the minimum threshold for Dota Pro Circuit points to qualify for The International 2023 will decrease. While the aforementioned teams have nearly 100% chances of making it to Valve's flagship tournament, there are no guarantees for the rest of the Dota 2 teams.
