Gaimin Gladiators captain made a statement after the team's elimination from DreamLeague Season 24

Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp said that despite the good performance of the Gaimin Gladiators squad in training, the results of the team at the beginning of the season did not meet the expectations of the captain of the squad.

The player made a statement to this effect on his personal X page.

“Not the start of the season I would have wished for.

I knew it might be rocky at start, but never fun to lose tournaments. practice is going well and we are improving a lot every day.

Would have been a lot more fun to be able to show it, we need to be patient now.”

After replacing Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov with Alimzhan “Watson” Islambekov, the Gaimin Gladiators roster failed to advance past the first group stage at DreamLeague Season 24, and at the previous tournament, BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024, the team fell out of the first round of the lower grid playoffs. It is worth noting that fans of the club were skeptical about the replacement.
