Erik “Tofu” Engel admitted that
Gaimin Gladiators members sometimes regret replacing Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov in the Dota 2 lineup, but added that such a decision was necessary for the team.
The corresponding statement was made by the player on YouTube.
“Sometimes there are regrets, but it was just something that had to be done. It's a complicated story.”
Speaking about the reasons for
Gaimin Gladiators' defeats, Eric “Tofu” Engel stated that after replacing Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov with Alimzhan “Watson” Islambekov, all players in the lineup have to change their gameplay to adapt to the new member. The player also said that the season is going terribly for the team and the result is far from the original expectations of the team.
Earlier, streamer Ilya “Illidan” Pivtsaev criticized the co-founder of
Gaimin Gladiators for accusations against Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov, stating the organization's desire to whitewash its reputation after a series of defeats from the former teammate.
