Former Team Spirit player said that Donk can be replaced without problems

Ivan “Zweih” Gogin, a former Team Spirit player, said that the team’s game is not built around Danil “donk” Kryshkovets, and he can even be replaced without serious damage to the team

He said this during an interview with TAVERNA.GG.

“I don’t think much would change if instead of Donk there was someone like flameZ. Donk is just the strongest player in his role in the world, which is why he can turn many rounds with his skill. But Spirit’s structure is not focused only on Donk, it’s just harder for them when he doesn’t do his job - killing three. Because of his skill everyone got used to thinking he is the top-1 player in the world, that without him Spirit would be tier-2. But that’s not true at all, if you replace him with a top-2 player in the same role, nothing really changes”

Zweih noted that many people mistakenly think Team Spirit would be a tier-2 team without Donk, but this is not the case. According to him the rifler can be replaced, it would be a bit harder for the rest without Donk’s level, but the structure and results of the team would not change critically

He explained that Donk is indeed a very strong individual player and the best in his role, but without him the team won’t fall apart, although it would be harder for the others to perform
