Artem "Fng" Barshak, the captain of
Virtus.pro, believes that the team has almost no reason to be proud, as their only notable achievement in recent times is reaching the top 8 in a major Dota 2 tournament.
The esports player made this admission during an interview with analysts during the BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 qualifiers, which was published on Twitch.
"At the moment, on our wall of honor, there's only one top-8 finish, which was essentially 3-4 months ago. In the long run, it's nothing. So constantly shouting that we've improved, well, it doesn't make much sense"
The player emphasized that this is indeed a meager accomplishment for a team of their caliber but announced that in the coming months, there will be major tournaments such as BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, DreamLeague Season 22, and ESL One Birmingham 2024, where the roster will have the opportunity to showcase themselves.
Recall that
Virtus.pro defeated
L1ga Team, securing a slot at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, where they, along with other teams, will compete for a prize pool of one million dollars.
