Fng compared himself to Puppey, making a candid confession

Artyom "Fng" Barshak admitted that he is not the legendary Puppey and never wanted to be the captain of Virtus.pro, but the team needed a leader.

He made this confession during an interview at The International 2023.

"Even if you have a lot of experience, it doesn't mean you'll be a good captain, teammate, or player. You need to show your teammates that they should respect you. I think it can be different for other players, like Puppey, for example. Everyone respects him, and he doesn't have to prove anything. But I'm not Puppey.

I never wanted to be a captain. I'm one of the laziest people in the world. I like to sit at home, do nothing, get money, and live my life. But for various reasons, every team I've played in needed a leader"
