Fallen talks about what he’ll do after retiring

Gabriel “Fallen” Toledo announced that he won’t become a coach after retiring as a pro player, but will be involved in managing the esports organization Furia.

The player shared this in an interview with Globo.

“I have no intention of becoming a CS coach. I want to help the team in other ways—traveling to tournaments, being there for them, and so on—but I don’t plan on becoming a coach. First of all, we already have an excellent coach—Sidde—and secondly, a coach’s life is very similar to a player’s: it’s just as difficult and involves constant travel. It would be crazy to leave one role only to immediately switch to another—there’s no point in that.

Actually, I want to spend more time in one place. I’ve already set up a base for myself—a house abroad and a house in Itapetininga, in the state of São Paulo—so that I have a place for streaming, working, and creating content both in Brazil and abroad. I want to share my knowledge about the game with Brazilian teams—through streams or YouTube content. I might even launch something like a podcast where I’ll discuss various topics. There are many avenues I can explore, and now I’ll have more time to be closer to my audience and work on content.

In addition, I will continue to participate in management alongside Furia’s CS division leadership. I may eventually take on other roles within the organization as well. We have a lot of exciting things ahead of us. It’s hard to pinpoint all the plans just yet, but I’m sure that as I have more free time, many great opportunities will arise.”

According to Gabriel “Fallen” Toledo, the Counter-Strike 2 coach is deeply committed to the team, so transitioning into this role won’t change much in his life. Moreover, the esports player noted that Furia already has a good coach, and he will support the organization in other ways by participating in the management of the CS2 division. Nevertheless, in addition to this, the esports player also plans to engage in streaming and creating content related to Counter-Strike, setting himself up for a more balanced lifestyle.

As a reminder, earlier, Danil “Molodoy” Golubenko was unable to hold back his tears during Gabriel “Fallen” Toledo’s announcement of his plans to end his career as a CS2 pro player.
