Every fifth Dota 2 match is played only by bots, — Noxville

It turned out that 22% of Ability Draft matches in Dota 2 are public games where only bots are playing, without a single live player involved.

This was reported by analyst Ben “Noxville” Steenhuisen on his X page.

“I’m investigating the bots that are running wild in the Ability Draft mode. Right now 47,423 out of 215,610 matches (22%) in patch 7.40c in this mode are games with ten bots”

The analyst noted that the investigation is ongoing, but the statistics already look shocking. According to his data, in every fifth match of this mode there are no real people at all, and all 10 participants are bots.

Noxville did not explain who benefits from this, or who could be organizing such large-scale bot schemes.
