A member of Dead Denasty under the handle gonnatakehappy fueled a public feud with players from Wildcard during a match while attempting to qualify for ESL One Raleigh 2025 in North America.

These offensive remarks aimed at his opponents made their way to the game’s all-chat and were subsequently casted live to the world.

This incident took place in the round of the lower bracket finals in the qualifiers, during round 2 of the lower bracket finals. Towards the beginning of the eighth minute, he dies for the fourth time and gets extremely angry. As a result, gonnatakehappy started to hurl insults towards his enemies. Those who know gonnatakehappy have strong suspicions that his words were in reference to the player Viktor “Fayde” Zuev.

In several of these chats, the player typed very aggressive appeals such as losing one’s mom and abusing partly in reference to one of the players, “Daniil ‘Bignum’ Shekhovtsov.”. The Wildcard players in response to the message sent sarcastic responses by typing symbols of parentheses “(” in the chat.

Usually, following a death during the game, players are often insulted. However, after another one of gonnatakehappy’s deaths and RCY tipping him, he completely lost it. Now, bearing in mind that he was already tilted, after addressing Wildcard’s mid laner, he just kept on calling RCY a bot and delivered the shocking statement of how would he even like to play Dota 2 in the first place.

In the 12 minutes in, Wildcard player, gonnatakehappy went down, only for Bignum and Fayde to tee off once again, which set off yet another round of angry messages. This was met with fury from the enemies’ carry players, when Dead Denasty started throwing curse words around while claiming that he would aim to lose in the matches that they queued up for.

At the 15 minute mark, the score was 30:4 with Wildcard on an advantage. As a result, Dead Denasty concluded that it was time to throw in the towel. gonnatakehappy exited the game having used Slark and finished with 0/8/0. As the match came to its conclusion, a few members from Wildcard did not hold back on the mocking and insults, sending negative ‘shoutouts’ to the gonnatakehappy in chat.
