Eiritel named the real reason for Team Spirit's defeat in the grand final against Team Yandex

Daria “Eiritel” Morozova believes that Team Spirit lost in the grand final of DreamLeague Season 27 Dota 2 because Team Yandex was better prepared for the drafts after the release of the new 7.40 patch.

The streamer shared this opinion in an exclusive comment for CyberMeta.

“At the start of a patch, it often happens that one team has managed to prepare an idea based on the new mechanics, while the other has not been able to figure out how to overcome it. And Team Spirit simply struggled against Team Yandex's impenetrable drafts.”

Acording to Daria “Eiritel” Morozova, the content creator gave a positive assessment of the outcome of DreamLeague Season 27, believing that Team Spirit had returned to their former form despite their defeat in the decisive series. The comentator is also happy about Team Yandex's success on the Dota 2 Tier 1 scene, as a new competitive team has emerged in the region.

"Speaking about the tournament as a whole, I'm happy. Team Spirit is back on top, and even though it seems like it's only the start of the season, they look fresh and energized. And Team Yandex has given us faith that we now definitely have a new contender for the Tier 1 scene. After BLAST Slam #5, it was still possible to believe it was a fluke, but now it's clear that watson and Saksa have found the best possible home for this season."
