Dyrachyo Speaks Out on the Possibility of Team Spirit Disbanding

Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov believes that a potential failure by Team Spirit in the closed qualifiers for The International 2026 would severely damage the team’s reputation and could result in the disbandment of the Dota 2 roster.

The former esports player shared this opinion on Twitch.

“Spirit has to make it to The International 100%, 100 out of 100. If not—that’s a massive failure, that’s a disband. It’s the end of an era, guys. If Spirit doesn’t make it through the closed qualifiers for The International, that’ll really be the end, I think. There are four slots; it’s imposible not to make it. You’d have to be a total disaster.”

Acording to Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov, Team Spirit has the best posible chance of securing a slot at The International 2026 through the closed qualifiers, as the organizers have allocated four slots to the region. However, the team faces a complete loss of reputation in the event of a failure.
