Dukalis Explained Why DM Refused to Shake Hands After the EWC Match

Andrey “Dukalis” Kuropatkin stated that Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin refused to shake his hand after the match between PARIVISION and Team Yandex due to disagrements between former teammates.

The player shared his perspective on the situation on Telegram.

“I walked over to shake his hand, but DM didn’t stand up. I didn’t press the issue, since we have personal differences. I realized he wasn’t going to shake my hand. This has nothing to do with the game or the team. I respect Team Yandex; it was a good match.”

According to a statement by Andrey “Dukalis” Kuropatkin, he was not opposed to shaking his opponent’s hand, but noticed that the other player didn’t even stand up to do so. Dukalis acknowledged that there are disagreements between the esports players, which he believes were the reason his former teammate refused to shake hands. Nevertheless, the PARIVISION player emphasized that he respects the opposing team.
