Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov stated that the update to ESL's community cast rules makes streaming DreamLeague Season 22 championship impossible.
The well-known streamer shared this opinion in his personal Telegram channel.
"Here's unexpected news that I wasn't aware of until yesterday: ESL (DreamLeague is also ESL) updated their community cast rules, which were already not very favorable, but now they've gone even further and require streamers to have a 5-minute delay on their cast. So, in addition to the 15-minute delay in DotaTV, there's now an additional 5-minute delay for streaming, making it a total of 20 minutes of delay.
But it's not just about the delay; it's that the streamer can't stream with a delay, can't interact with the chat, can't read donations. It's a terrible discomfort because half of the stream is about interacting with the chat and other communications.
In short, this practically means that streaming is impossible, which of course contradicts the message that Valve outlined in their community cast recommendations five years ago."
ESL is imposing quite strict restrictions on streamers. In addition to requirements for broadcast delay, there are also strict limitations on stream naming and presentation. Organizers demand strict chat moderation and impose restrictions on the number of hosts and studio equipment used.

Recall that earlier, Denis "Larl" Sigitov explained why he was the first to lift the Aegis after
Team Spirit's victory at The International 2023 in Dota 2.
