The Dota 2 meta has changed again: best heroes to gain MMR

In Dota 2 the meta of patch 7.40c has changed once again, where Razor is no longer the strongest hero, he was replaced by a group of five characters who managed to surpass him in winrate.

This is shown by data from the DotaBuff portal.

The best hero for gaining MMR turned out to be Chaos Knight who after a small decline became popular again and extremely strong in matchmaking with a winrate of 53.64%.

Right after him come Visage and Spectre who are only slightly behind the leader but have also proven themselves as effective picks for Dota 2 public matches.

Dazzle and Void Spirit close out the top five having also managed to stay at around 53% winrate. It is worth noting that Razor who was considered a broken hero dropped all the way down to sixth place in the updated Dota 2 meta.
