Patch 7.39c has gradually begun to shift the gameplay dynamics, and after a week, we can already see which heroes are gaining traction in the current meta. Several picks have risen to the top in terms of win rate and have become increasingly popular in Dota 2 matchmaking.
Carry
Ursa (53%) holds the leading position. Thanks to his tempo and lane stability, the hero is performing well in both pubs and the pro scene.
Juggernaut (52.3%) and
Drow Ranger (50.7%) follow close behind, offering consistency without standing out too much.
Midlane
Morphling (54.2%) is the clear midlane leader this week. His high mobility and ability to control tempo allow him to dominate most matchups.
Huskar (52.2%) and
Invoker (51.4%) are also showing solid results, especially in the hands of experienced players.
Offlane
The biggest surprise this week is
Chaos Knight (56.7%), making a strong return to the offlane with an impressive win rate.
Necrophos (53.4%) and
Mars (52.9%) are also performing well — both are classic initiators that remain relevant in the current meta.
Position 4
Shadow Shaman (53.7%) leads the support picks, thanks to his pushing potential and strong lockdown.
Clockwerk (53%) and
Earthshaker (52.6%) follow closely — their value increases significantly on active maps with constant skirmishes.
Hard Support
Undying,
Skywrath Mage, and
Lion are all hovering around the 52.1–52.6% win rate mark. While there’s no clear dominant hero in this role, the overall trend points toward aggressive lane control and early impact.
