Mark "Sikle" Lerman suggests that the next Dota 2 update will remove several items from the game and replace them with new ones - one of them could be Samurai Tabi.
He reported this on his Telegram channel.
"For example, due to the fact that Khanda and Meteor Hammer were going to be removed, something was definitely being prepared to replace them. And since Samurai Tabi has been gathering dust in the files for a long time and has been repeatedly changed, it is a good candidate for release (if the developers want to introduce something, ofc)"
According to him, the developers really planned to remove Khanda and
Meteor Hammer from the game and even prepared a replacement for them. The analyst believes that Samurai Tabi is the main candidate for introduction into Dota 2, given the frequent reworking of the item. However, he clarified that Valve's plans may change, and there is no guarantee that new artifacts will actually appear in the patch.
It is worth noting that Samurai Tabi have been in the game files for a long time, but they can only be obtained through the console so far. The item currently costs 5250 gold and enhances one of three characteristics to choose from. Depending on the selected characteristic, the active ability of the item also changes.
Recall that earlier the data miner revealed the release date and content of the 2025 Compendium.
