Donk criticized FACEIT even though he plays there constantly

Danil 'donk' Kryshkovets criticized FACEIT because of its rating system, which in his opinion has led to an overall drop in the level of play.

The esports player talked about the ELO reset during a stream of Oleg 'baz' Kulinich.

“Because FACEIT is a ****** platform, thats it. In Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Elo worked normally. Well, more or less. Now the amount of Elo is basically useless, so the real skill of players is unclear. The reset itself is good, but I dont know how to balance it properly. I would probably do it once every six months, and reset everyone hard to around 3100 Elo”

According to him, in CS:GO the rating could still reflect the real skill level of players, but now the Elo number does not show much. Even though he is one of the most active FACEIT players on the Counter-Strike 2 pro scene, he still does not like the current system.

Donk suggested resetting players’ Elo to around 3100 every six months to make matches more balanced. He believes the reset itself is a good decision, but it should be done periodically.
