DM Names the Best Offlaners in Dota 2 Patch 7.41a

Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin considers Bristleback, Doom, Tidehunter, Enigma, and Batrider to be the best heroes for the offlaner role in the Dota 2 7.41a meta.

The esports player also gave a positive assessment of the changes to the Dota 2 meta following the release of the new update, as the patch has significantly expanded the pool of effective heroes for the third position and made the game more challenging for supports, who will now have to be more creative.

“Overall, it feels like you can now pick twice as many heroes for the three-man lane because Jaggernaut and Warlok won’t wipe you out at level 0. In the five-man lane, you’ll have to be more creative instead of just picking 3-4 identical heroes in a rotation, which is definitely a good thing. There’s also a lot of new gear.”

As a reminder, Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov previously criticized Valve for releasing patches 7.41 and 7.41a during the playoffs of the ESL One Birmingham 2026 tournament.
