DM Identifies the Key Reason Behind Team Yandex's Success

Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin believes that Team Yandex’s roster members have a strong understanding of the current meta and play an effective hero pool, which the esports player considers the main factor behind the team’s success.

“I think we’ve adapted well to the meta. We have a pretty good hero pool for every position. It’s as if we’re hard to counter-pick. That’s what I think is pretty key.”

According to Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin, the players on Team Yandex have been able to significantly improve their individual skill levels. The esports player believes that the team’s boot camp helped him personally, after which he was able to break a long losing streak. At the moment, DM views Team Yandex’s preparation positively and also believes that the team has interesting ideas that will pose serious challenges to opponents in official matches.

“ Well, overall, our individual form—we’ve been improving over the last few weeks, starting with the boot camp. Personally, I’ve definitely improved a lot, because I wasn’t feeling very well at the start of the boot camp. I had a crazy losing streak there, but now I feel much better. So yeah, I think the others were also just getting into shape along the way. Right now, we’re in good form and have good ideas. And in terms of draft picks, I think it’s not so easy to play against us.”
