Dataminers uncover Valve’s plans for the Compendium in Dota 2

Information has surfaced that Valve has started actively updating files related to team bundles, which may hint at the possible release of Compendium rather than Battle Pass.

This was pointed out by popular dataminer Fay in his Telegram channel.

"There's been trolling for almost the entire week for different team bandleys, well, and gear in general. It was similar last year, but then it did not lead to anything much. Now the maximum that can be associated with it is Compendium. By the way, according to the most pessimistic forecasts it will be released in two months at most. They've also updated manifest.js - perhaps it's a hint about the soon news on the site. There is no content yet - we are waiting".

While there have been no official announcements from Valve yet, frequent updates to in-game files and activity with UI elements have piqued fans' interest. Many are hoping that the developers will finally reveal the details of the Compendium for The International 2025 in the coming weeks.

Nevertheless, part of the community is disappointed: given this information, the chances of the return of a full Battle Pass look less and less realistic.
