Data miners revealed details of the new Dota 2 update Crownfall

Dota 2 developers may launch a new in-game event where Queen of Pain becomes the boss. Likely, the event will be part of the global Crownfall update previously announced.

This information was shared by dataminers on Stepan's Dota Telegram channel.

After analyzing the Dota 2 client code, it was discovered that Queen of Pain will be one of the bosses in the upcoming update. Her HP bar was found among the lines, and even its appearance was revealed. It is assumed that the event will start with the release of the Crownfall update, which is likely to happen in the spring of 2024.

Earlier, dataminers also found hints of new arcanas for Vengeful Spirit and Skywrath Mage, which may also play a significant role in the upcoming game update. It is not ruled out that Dota 2 will also introduce a new hero, Ring Master, who will focus on controlling enemies.

While there is no exact announcement date, it is possible that the new update will be released immediately after the conclusion of the Dragon's Gift event, recently launched by Valve.
