CS2 may get 6 new maps in the next update

Well known CS2 dataminer Aqua reported that in the next major update Valve may add 6 new maps to the game, one of which is supposedly Cobblestone.

He posted this info with an insider tip on his X page.

“It is assumed that the next major Counter-Strike 2 update will add these 6 new maps”

Although the dataminer did not directly say which maps are meant, it is likely that one of them will be Cobblestone, which fans have been waiting for. Nevertheless, the developers have not announced plans for the map pool yet, since it is known that Train will soon be removed from competitive mode, to be replaced by Anubis.

Earlier, it was explained why Valve decided to remove Train from CS2.
