The country where the best CS2 players live has been named: the result suprised many

The leader by the number of players with the highest median ELO suddently turned out to be Iceland, where this score is 1187.

Such statistics was shared by the analyst Shternz on his Telegram channel.

It’s worth explainng that the median value shows the skill not of the top players and not of the newbies, but of the average player on FACEIT. Also worth noting, this statistical indicator is considered more clear than the average value, because top players with 3–4k ELO don’t distort the picture, you can see the real level of the main mass of players.

According to Shternz data, the best CS2 players live in Iceland, Luxembourg and Finland. The worst scores, by this statistics, are in Romania, where median ELO is only 942.
