Dota 2 Compendium 2023: all content, prices, new features

Valve traditionally releases substantial updates for Dota 2 each year around The International as a way to celebrate the game's community and support its competitive scene. However, for TI12, instead of the annual battle pass, which players have become accustomed to over the last several years, Valve is reintroducing the Compendium.
Unlike previous battle passes that primarily offered new cosmetics or balance changes, the TI12 Compendium focuses on creating a set of activities to enhance the enjoyment of TI, both during and after the broadcast. This shift means fewer unlockable cosmetics and more emphasis on fun activities such as Fantasy play and Bingo.
What is the Dota 2 TI12 Compendium?
Earlier this year, Valve announced that it would retire the battle pass format that had been a staple for The International since 2013 in favor of a more diverse approach to Dota 2 gameplay updates. While the company promised a TI-themed update before TI12, players were pleasantly surprised to see the return of the Compendium, which has undergone significant changes to prioritize new features and activities over cosmetics.
When does the Dota 2 TI12 Compendium release?
The Dota 2 TI12 Compendium was released on September 27, 2023, along with Valve's main announcement. Currently, there is no set end date for this collection and its features. Valve has mentioned that "the next big patch" and a set of Arcanas are in the works, potentially signaling that the end date will be announced later.
All features in the Dota 2 TI12 Compendium

The TI12 Compendium includes various content, although most of it does not directly affect in-game play.
Profile Showcase: Profiles and Mini Profiles have been reworked, allowing players to display their Dota items and achievements using sprays, loading screens, chat wheels, items, stickers, and stat graphs.
The Road to The International Challenge: Two challenges involve players assuming the roles of specific heroes used by pro players and teams during the current competitive season. Players must win with these heroes or those most-picked by pros for bonus rewards.
Fantasy Draft: Valve has updated the Fantasy aspect of TI, enabling players to select their favorite core, mid, and support players each weekend during TI12. Compendium rewards and earned rerolls can be used to craft stats for selected players.
Bingo: Compendium owners receive randomly generated Bingo cards each TI12 weekend. Completing a Bingo card by predicting events during pro matches earns Compendium Points.
The Oracle’s Challenge: A prediction-based challenge where players must predict TI12 outcomes, starting with the group stage. In-game predictions can also be made while watching live matches, earning up to six Compendium Points per day.
Supporter’s Club and Talent Stickers: The Supporter’s Club offers Bronze, Silver, and Gold tiers to support favorite TI12 teams, with 50% of sales benefiting the supported team. Talent Stickers feature stickers, voice lines, and autographs from casters, commentators, and analysts appearing on the TI12 broadcast.
Compendium Rewards: Completing challenges or playing Dota 2 earns Compendium Points and Levels, leading to various rewards such as player and team stickers, permanent chat wheels, new HUD designs, teleport effects, and more.
