Boombl4 Shares His Thoughts on BetBoom Team's Loss

Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov stated that he is disappointed with BetBoom Team’s result in the grand final of the Stake Ranked Counter-Strike 2 tournament.

The team captain made this statement on Telegram.

“I would have written a long post summarizing these past two weeks and everything we’ve been through, but I’ve gotten really sick. In any case, a huge thank you to everyone for the support and kind words; we fought like lions.

The last match was disappointing on the second map and somewhat ‘ridiculous’ on the third. The main thing is that it was a hard-fought final. Even though we missed our chance to win the tournament, I’m proud of our performance.”

Nevertheles, Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov noted that his team lost the Stake Ranked Grand Final against G2 Esports with dignity, which is why the esports player generally views BetBoom Team’s performance at the tournament positively. The team captain also mentioned that he fell seriously ill during the event.

Despite the loss in the Stake Ranked grand final, the team has enough VRS points to secure a direct invite to the IEM Cologne Major 2026.
