BetBoom Team hinted at what the real reason was behind their elimination from Riyadh Masters 2025

Anatoly “boolk” Ivanov, coach of BetBoom Team, hinted that the long break at the Riyadh Masters 2025 had a negative impact on the team's form and was one of the reasons for the team's elimination from the tournament.

He said in a post-match interview on YouTube:

"We lost on the first map. We don't have much experience with Broodmother. There was a key fight on Roshan, after which we stopped playing Dota. We understood perfectly well why we lost the first map.

Our unusual characters are a consequence of the big break. The teams that came in good shape, during this time it could have gone away. But everyone is on equal terms. The break allows everyone to prepare, we have to adapt drafts. Given the specific players on our team, the break hurt us more than anything"

Boolk also noted that the pause between stages allowed other teams to develop draft picks to match their opponents. He hinted that some BetBoom Team players were too relaxed, which led to the defeat, but did not name specific names.
