According to the site, the two-time Dota 2 World Champion decided to take part in Battle Cup, a special mode for Dota Plus subscribers. In it, a team of players must win a mini-tournament against eight other squads. The winners receive weekly rewards in the form of in-game cosmetics: a Battle Cup trophy, seven unique emojis and an exclusive statue.
Previously through the Battle Cup system, it was even possible to get a slot to the majors through regional qualifications.
This is a pretty decent result, considering that the player was inactivated for several months, but managed to return to the game with victories.
Recall that earlier Topson hinted at a possible return to the Dota 2 pro scene by publishing a cryptic announcement.
