BetBoom Team captain surprises with statement after team's triumphant victory

Vitaly “Save-” Melnik noted that BetBoom Team's advancement to the Riyadh Masters 2025 playoffs with first place in the group has a downside, as the team faces a long break before the knockout matches in the playoffs.

The BetBoom Team captain said this on Twitch.

“Oh, I don't know. It's single-elimination. We'll have a 5-day break. We'll just sit in practice and train. To be honest, it's better to play in the deciders than to go straight to the playoffs, but what can you do if we won.”

The player also noted that Execration showed a very high level of preparation, as the BetBoom Team players felt they could lose on both maps.

“I think Execration played very well. We could have lost on both maps. Respect to them.”

BetBoom Team finished the group stage of Riyadh Masters 2025 with two wins and one draw. Thanks to their first place in the group, the team advances directly to the playoffs, skipping the second stage of the tournament.

As a reminder, Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko took responsibility for the only lost map against Gaimin Gladiators.
