Pure took responsibility for BetBoom Team's defeat

Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko was disappointed with BetBoom Team's defeat on the first map in the match against Gaimin Gladiators at the Riyadh Masters 2025. The esports player believes he made a mistake during the draft, which made the game difficult for his team.

The player made this statement on Twitch.

“I'm upset that we lost the map to these guys. The first map was difficult. I messed up the draft. We really failed the first map. I don't feel happy about winning the second map, because the first one was terrible.”

According to Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko, the team's problems were not with the Phantom Lancer hero, as BetBoom Team was already struggling before selecting this hero. The player also noted that he did not have the best build in the game, which added additional difficulties for him and his teammates.

“I don't think Phantom Lancer was the main problem. It was the first stage of the draft. When we decided to take PL, the draft was already terrible. I didn't have the best build. It was a difficult game for me and my teammates. I chose this build to stay in the game.”

Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko noted that on the second map, the opponents made a mistake with their choice of Weaver, which allowed his team to easily even the score and end the match in a draw. Nevertheless, the player is still disappointed with the overall result of the match due to the defeat on the first map.

“ Weaver isn't the best hero right now. You can take any character against him. It was easy, but it's still not cool that we lost the first map.”
