Vitaly “Save-” Melnyk has a normal attitude to skirmishes at Dota 2 tournaments, if it does not cross personal boundaries, but the cyber athlete himself prefers not to take part in such skirmishes. Despite the periodic public clashes between his teammates and members of
Team Falcons, the player says that the relationship between the teams is normal and he does not feel negativity towards his opponents.
The
BetBoom Team captain shared his opinion in an exclusive video on the squad's official YouTube channel dedicated to their performance at DreamLeague Season 23.
“I've always been okay with thrashtalk, I've thrashtalked myself in the past. I don't do it now. I used to have some interviews that weren't the best where I was thrashtalking, like four years ago.
It was really bad, I think. I've just matured and changed as a person in general. And I'm positive about treshtock, as long as it doesn't cross some sort of line. I have a normal relationship with the Falcons, just like any other team. I don't have any negativity towards them.”
It is worth noting that at the DreamLeague Season 23 tournament, for the first time in a long time, members of the squads did not have a public verbal altercation.
BetBoom Team left the tournament with the third place, and
Team Falcons, after defeating Save in the final of the lower grid, took the first place in the tournament from
Gaimin Gladiators in the deciding match.
We would like to remind you that earlier
BetBoom Team support Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO” Hertek named the worst category of players in Dota 2.
