Following the release of patch 7.37b for Dota 2, the meta has undergone significant changes. Two of the most overpowered heroes from the previous update,
Tinker and
Ember Spirit, have quickly dropped from the top ranks and are continuing to lose win rate. The nerfs have also affected many other heroes from the previous meta.
A new top five has emerged in the game, with these heroes rapidly gaining win rates in Dota 2 matchmaking, according to data from DotaBuff.
Currently, the top hero is
Chen, who has unexpectedly increased his effectiveness by 7%, making him one of the most efficient heroes right now.
Mirana has also seen a significant rise, thanks to substantial buffs to her Solar Flare ability and increased damage from her skills in patch 7.37b.

Slark, though unchanged in the patch, continues to improve his performance in matchmaking due to item rebalancing and other hero adjustments.

Puck has strengthened his position with changes to his passive ability, which has impacted his win rate, and
Invoker has been significantly buffed by Valve. Many of his abilities no longer break invisibility and now work while moving, with increased damage making him one of the top heroes in terms of win rate.

The Dota 2 meta is likely to continue evolving, as it has been only a few hours since the release of patch 7.37b. Nonetheless, Valve has already nerfed many of the strongest heroes, bringing several less popular characters to the forefront.
