Azure Ray have announced the disbandment of their Dota 2 roster, although the club is not leaving the pro scene and may return in the future.

This was announced on the team's official Weibo page.

"The horn of farewell is still sounding in our ears, but unfortunately we crashed in the turbulent flow of qualifications. We lost 1-2 to Excel in the second round of the lower grid playoffs and failed to secure a ticket to TI14. Since then the club has once again gone on vacation and reassessment.

This summer we fought shoulder to shoulder, giving our best. Our journey may have ended here, but the fighting spirit and the support of the fans with flags will stay with us forever.

A temporary farewell is necessary in order to meet again - even stronger.

The summer continues. Good luck to all the Chinese teams still on the road!"

Judging from the statement, the reason for the disbandment is the failure to qualify for The International 2025. The roster lasted only two weeks and was disbanded. What will happen to the players is still unknown.
