AVULUS will have to play at The International 2025 qualifiers with Fabian “Mo13ei” Kner, who was kicked out earlier, instead of Vitaly “Worick” Brezgin - due to an application error.
The club reported the strange situation on their Telegram channel.

"Mo13ei will play for AVULUS in qualifying for The International. At the time of submitting the application for the tournament, the final decision on the midfielder had not been made yet, and Mo13ei was included in the starting lineup. A couple of days later Worick joined us, we updated the application, but made a mistake - we listed him as a substitute, not as the main player.
According to the PGL regulations, the participation of a substitute is possible only in a force majeure situation. Therefore, Mo13ei will play in the starting lineup. Worick will be ready to play as a substitute if it becomes necessary.
We apologize to Worick. He was seriously preparing for the qualification for the main tournament of the year and found himself in this ridiculous situation due to our fault.
We would like to express our gratitude to Mo13ei - he agreed to play despite the earlier decision to replace him.
Such situations are rarely shared publicly, but we believe that openness in this matter is the most honest form of respect for players and community"
It is noted that the team accidentally recorded Worick as a replacement rather than as a primary player. Because of this, they had to negotiate with Mo13ei, who had been replaced earlier, to play again. He agreed, and Worick will play as a substitute.
