Matthew “ari” Walker acknowledged that
Tundra Esports showed a sharp decline in preparation in the group stage of DreamLeague Season 27 Dota 2 after their recent victory in the BLAST Slam V grand final.
The player made this statement on Twitch.
“Definitely not our best performance in the group stage. I don't know what to say about it. We just won the tournament, and now we're not playing so well.”
The esports player noted that it is difficult for him to understand the reason for the defeats in the group stage of DreamLeague Season 27, but he sees problems in both the drafts and the team's gameplay. According to Matthew “ari” Walker, the team analyzes each defeat, trying to draw the right conclusions, but still cannot show the level of preparation it strives for.
"It's hard to understand why this is the case. I think there are some problems in the drafts, but mainly it's about gameplay. We draw good conclusions after each series, get back into shape, and grow. But this is definitely not the game we are capable of playing. Getting out of the group was a relief — now we have a better chance of getting back into shape for the playoffs."
Earlier, Matthew “Ari” Walker said that the team has been dedicating a lot of time to the game and needs a break.
