Wang "Ame" Chunyu, captain of
Xtreme Gaming, is reportedly devastated by the defeat at The International 2024 and may leave not only the roster but the entire Dota 2 pro scene. The organization itself might also be planning major roster changes.
This information was shared by the insider Telegram channel "Musli Kitaiskie".
"If Xiao8 joins Xtreme, both shiro and y` will likely move there as well. Ame is devastated by the loss, Dy genuinely doesn't want to play anymore, and Xxs wants to take a break"
It is noted that Ame took the defeat at TI13 very hard. He previously mentioned that the team was formed specifically to win the Aegis of Champions, but they failed to achieve that goal. The insider claims that nearly the entire roster could be replaced by players from
LGD Gaming.
However, neither Ame nor
Xtreme Gaming has commented on the situation yet, so there is no official confirmation of this information.
Valve did not allow Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk to honor Ame at The International, despite Yatoro changing his nickname for this purpose.
