Valve did not include the character 雨 (Rain) on the Aegis, which Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk added to his nickname to pay tribute to Wang "Ame" Chunyu, a Dota 2 legend.

As seen in the images of the Aegis, Valve did not add the character, which sounds similar to Ame's name. Yatoro intended to honor his idol by engraving the name of the legend on the main Dota 2 trophy, which Ame never managed to win. The nickname Yatoro was written without any additional characters, but the reason behind Valve's decision remains unknown.
Yatoro has not commented on the situation, but it is worth noting that this season, the two-time world champion has shown significantly less admiration for the Dota 2 legend.
It’s worth recalling that Valve previously updated the main trophy of The International 2024, revealing how many more winners can be engraved on the Aegis.
