Valve updated the main trophy for The International 2024. Photo

The main trophy of The International 2024 – the Aegis, has undergone changes, as the space for champions on the inner ring has run out. Now, the names of the champions will be engraved on the outer ring, where there is space for seven more teams.

The trophy was shown during the official Dota 2 World Championship broadcast on Twitch.

As seen in the footage, last year's TI champions Team Spirit have already been engraved on the outer ring, and the champions of The International 2024 will be placed next to them. It is estimated that space on the Aegis will only run out by 2030, assuming Valve continues to host Dota 2 championships until then.
