Arcane Season 2

Christian Linke, the showrunner of Arcane, announced that a new League of Legends series has been in development for a year, and viewers can expect several more projects set in the regions of Noxus, Ionia, and Demacia.

He shared this information in an interview with the streamer Necrit94 on Twitch.

According to him, although the new show has been in the works for over a year, the creators spent six years on the first season of Arcane and three more years on the second season. Given this production pace, it is unlikely that the new League of Legends series will be released any earlier than 4-5 years from now.

The specific champions featured in the new anime have not yet been revealed, but it was previously mentioned that the creators want to focus on new characters, as only 10% of all the game’s champions have appeared on screen so far. It is known that the new shows will take place in Noxus, Ionia, and Demacia.

It was also previously reported why Arcane is being concluded after its second season, despite the show’s overwhelming success.
