Why is Arcane being canceled after Season 2

"From the very beginning, when we started working on this project, we had a very specific ending in mind, which means that the story of Arcane will conclude with the second season"

This is why the creators of Arcane will not be making a third season, even if the second season turns out to be incredibly successful. However, it is noted that while there will be no direct continuation, several other adaptation projects for League of Legends are planned in the form of new series and anime.

Fans were also reassured that the new projects will be handled by Fortiche Studio, the team behind the original Arcane series, so the quality of storytelling and visual style should remain high.
