Former e-sports player and Twitch streamer, Henrik ''AdmiralBulldog’’ Anberg, was taken back by how
Chimera Esports qualified for Dream League 25 while being in Jordan for a single day and this time Nikita ''Daxak” Kuzmin was also part of the team.
He posted about this on his X (Twitter) account.
“The fact that a CIS team team abused the MESWA qualifiers and played in the middle east for one day is ridiculous. I see the potential in regional qualifiers for DreamLeague so that players all over the globe have the access to compete but Chimera Esports qualified from MESWA and now are in Shadow's Wallachia qualifiers joined with Penta and there are 4 CIS players in the squad. It's absurd’’
Admiral Bulldog made underlined that the MESWA region has a very talented team yet
Chimera Esports are missing out on dominating that region since they registered from MESWA and qualified from Western Europe with only one night spent in Jordan, making him question the organizations involvement in allowing such behavior.
This has also been pointed out in the Dota 2 scene as well with a number of people asserting that the team was able to play qualifiers across 3 different regions within a span of just under a month. It was clarified by some that this is within the rules, and others that it is a disadvantage to the teams from these regions.
Recall that earlier
Team Spirit had no qualms with condemning Resolut1on for the League and clearly stated the most critical problem.
