Ace spoke about the tough times for Gaimin Gladiators

Marcus "Ace" Folke Helgaard, the offlaner of Gaimin Gladiators, noted that after the aura meta was softened,his squad experienced some hardships, and he personally had a hard time for a while trying to establish his own identity in the game.

BLAST TV conducted an interview with Marcus.

"I would say that I’ve been trying to find a style that suits me and my team\'s because the aura meta was softened, which forced us to make big changes. So we did several attempts: first, I changed to the initiator role, bought Blink Dagger, and played in Collapse’s style. Then, we tried ATF style carry, but that didn't work. Then we tried auras again, but that wasn’t useful either. Right now, my playstyle is probably still in outline form, but I am attempting to go about it"

"Yes, I have tried to mimic great players like Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf or Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov, but this has not been very useful and has not assisted me in keeping up with the new meta. Therefore, I make it a point to adapt my playstyle throughout the match."
