CS2 fans noticed that on the Warden map there is graffiti featuring a hero from another Valve game – Warden. Players immediately recognized the character model from the game, as well as the weapon.

The community quickly suggested that this could be Valve hinting at a soon release of Deadlock.

Others point out on social media, that such a subtle hint more likely suggests Deadlock will first enter a beta testing phase, which could be announced in the coming months. It is worth noting that Deadlock receives regular updates and the developers even add new heroes, but the game’s online numbers still leave much to be desired.

The peak online over the last 30 days barely exceeded 30 thousand players. However, this number can be explained by the invite-only access, as many players are discouraged by the need to search for an invitation.

Recall that earlier CS2 received a major update with the new Anubis, skins and the start of Premier season 4.
