Ludwig "zai" Wahlberg, the new general manager of
Tundra Esports, stated that he will not repeat the decisions of William "Blitz" Lee, the coach of
Team Liquid.
The legendary esports player made this statement during an interview with Jake "SirActionSlacks" Kanner, published on the club's YouTube channel.
"If you take what Blitz did, I will do the opposite. And it will work. Whatever he did – I will do the opposite. That's the plan"
It is unclear whether this was a playful joke or a hint that Blitz made mistakes as the coach of
Team Liquid. However, during Blitz's coaching tenure, the team only managed to win one major Dota 2 tournament – ESL One Germany 2020. It is possible that Zai was alluding to this.
Also, considering the reference to Blitz's actions, it is quite likely that Zai will not only perform managerial functions but also act as a mentor for
Tundra Esports.
Recall that after taking a break from the professional Dota 2 scene, Zai surprised fans by announcing his return to
Tundra Esports.
