Ludwig “zai” Wohlberg,
Tundra Esports GM, said in a team vlog posted on the org’s YouTube channel that he met the team for the first time at ESL One Birmingham 2024. Prior to that, he had only talked to them online.
“I’m meeting the team for the first time at this tournament — trying to integrate into the group, see how everything works together,” zai said. “There have obviously been some changes in the lineup and we’ve got a lot of new players coming in … so I’m watching how players are interacting with each other, with management. Well, I’m also back at LANs — it feels very weird but it’s been fun so far”
He also mentioned that during ESL One Birmingham 2024 he was not just doing managerial duties but also helping with draft analysis.
As a reminder, zai surprised fans by returning to Dota 2. However instead of playing for
Team Liquid or any other organization as initially believed, he became
Tundra Esports new general manager — transitioning from one of the most successful pro players ever to front office work.
