Ludwig "zai" Wåhlberg, who played for
Team Liquid, has resumed playing Dota 2 matchmaking after a long break.
This information is based on data from the Dota2ProTracker portal.
The legendary professional player had not logged into Dota 2 on his main account for several months. However, over the past week, he managed to play two matches—one he lost, and the other he won. Notably, he played alongside
Team Falcons support player Andreas "Cr1t-" Nielsen.
It is currently unknown why Zai decided to start playing Dota 2 again at this particular time. It could be a result of the recent wave of bans targeting smurf accounts of esports players. It is also not ruled out that the professional player will soon announce his plans for this Dota 2 season.
Recall that Zai decided to take a break from Dota 2 after his team was eliminated from The International 2023.
