Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk, the former carry of
Team Spirit, currently has an MMR rating of 15,531, which gives him a chance to become the first player in Europe to reach the 16,000 MMR mark.
The player revealed his current rating during one of his Twitch streams.
With such a high MMR, the two-time Dota 2 World Champion has climbed to the top of the European ladder. Moreover, he now needs less than 500 points to become the first European player to surpass 16,000 MMR.
His rapid climb is truly impressive, as Yatoro has also been participating in the Streamers Battle 8 tournament. Despite this, he quickly accumulated MMR and claimed the top spot on the leaderboard.
However, the two-time world champion has stated that MMR is not important to him and that he wouldn't be bothered if he lost 2,000 rating points.
As a reminder, Yatoro previously identified a hero in patch 7.37e that wins 91% of Dota 2 matches.
