Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk said that it will take him about two weeks to gain 17 thousand MMR in Dota 2, provided that the player will do his best to win every match, avoiding losses.

The corresponding statement was made by the player on Twitch.

“Up 17k MMR will take me, if every game play hard and sweat, two weeks, probably. Assuming I don't have losstrike.”

Nevertheless, the legendary carry admits that it is quite difficult to achieve such a result due to the strong gap in the rankings from other players. Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk gets far fewer points for winning than he loses for losing, which makes him not interested in aiming for such a ranking at the moment.

“Nah, 17k MMR is still hard to upgrade, because guys now have a maximum of 15.5k rating. I get a very low number of points - 16, 19, 20, and I lose 74. I win three matches and for one loss I lose everything. I get too much downside and too little upside. It's just not interesting.”
